We are Senior Relocation Consultants as well as Moving Specialists. We call ourselves humanitarians. Our goal is to treat your family member or loved one as though they are a member of our family, because we see the need for putting on kid gloves and bringing patience and kindness to this generation. Most of our moving specialists have moved a loved one many times and we bring our experience with us, as well as our compassion and empathy.

Since we have been personally involved with this complicated and challenging task, we listen carefully to your needs and desires. Whether the move is from the family home to a retirement community or from there to a nursing home, we have done it. We know what and who we are dealing with and what we have to do to make this a caring and sympathetic process for all. Besides being humane and considerate during this job, we are aware of the need to be gentle with the person we are moving, not just gentle with their belongings. Our main objective is to make this move as pleasant as possible for your loved one and for you. This type of a move is arduous on everyone involved. For this reason, we work closely with the person moving, the family or close relations involved and the location of the move.

We sit down and draw up a purposeful plan for this transition. We do it together and then once the plan is agreed upon, we implement the plan from start to finish. This can include all of the details from making the arrangements from the start point or move out, all the way through the finish point, which is the move in. We coordinate and organize all of the transitioning together with the facility being moved into as well as the movers and unpacking and putting everything in place and in drawers and cupboards. If there is any personal property to be disposed of, we will take care of that aspect as well.

If you wish to use our consulting services, we interview and visit all of the locations on your list and give you a typed report on our findings. We do not recommend we give you the information you need to help make the selection easier for all concerned. If you do not have a list, we can make a list, do the examinations and present a report to you of our top three choices. We can be hired to take your loved one to visit these locations if you are out of state and we can help make the transition for your loved one.

We can be hired to do these services, whether you are a busy executive not living in the same city as your loved one or if you just can’t bring yourself to visit these facilities. In some cases, it is easier for us to do the footwork and then consult you on our findings. We have been there and we know what to look for and what to expect. Many of us could be approaching this situation or will be at some point in our lives.
